Job Description
Responsibility:
- The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is primarily
responsible for sales growth and market share in his respective area by
successfully leading, developing and managing the dealerships within his
territory. The ASM would typically be responsible for managing 8-10
dealerships.
- Sales growth and market share in line with
brand target so Demand generation by effectively leveraging marketing
investments and dealership resources in line with brand target so Ensure
effective and efficient market coverage.
- Monitor effective management of sales
opportunities by focusing on in process measures such as proposals and
conversion ratio so Ensure efficient and timely forecast, ordering ,inventory
planning and aging stock management to Monitor and ensure adequate availability
of resources and enablers 0 GAP analysis.
- Sales growth and market share in line with
brand targets Demand generation by effectively leveraging marketing investments
and dealership resources in line with brand targets as well as;
- Ensure effective and efficient market coverage
- Monitor effective management of sales opportunities by
focusing on in process measures such as proposals, test drives and
conversion ratios
- Ensure efficient and timely forecast, ordering
,inventory planning and aging stock management
- Monitor and ensure adequate availability of resources
and enablers
- GAP analysis ,training and best practices sharing to ensure
deviations in performance KPIs in constantly improving
- Ensure proper support and high win rate in large
deals/government, fleet and corporate business
- Develop market relationships with various stake holders
to ensure that you are on top of developments impacting the sales
performance and market share Sales standards and customer satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate to ensure that linkage of
standards to dealer sustainability and profitability is understood by
everyone at the dealership
- Ensure effective deployment of dealer resources to
ensure that operating standards are realized at the dealership. Audit and
monitor GAPs in implementation
- Monitor customer feedback in process measures and final
results to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals are improved
- Dealer satisfaction- Creating new Distributors, and
expanding business in new Areas
- Develop strong relationship with the dealer principal
based on high standards of professionalism and credible behavior
- Strongly advocate the strong potential of Eco power
business model
- Observe and listen carefully to identify potential
problems well in advance and implement countermeasures to eliminate the
problem and minimize impact including timely escalation
- Solve day to day problems and issues with alacrity
- Marketing insights ,analytics ,escalation and reporting
- Ensure timely presentation of fact based market
insights ,performance analytics
- Ensure timely escalation of issues which could impact
performance KPIs or dealer satisfaction
- Adhere to reporting quality and timelines
- Develop relationships with various stakeholders to
remain on top of competitive and trade related development so Represent
the company effectively in various forums in professional manner
