Job Description : Asset Management 

Role: Systems Engineer (3 to 6 years)

Shift :: 05:30 PM - 02:30 AM

Overview: As an Asset Analyst, member will work with Asset Management team to maintain the Asset Management database based on purchases, reception of assets, changes, decommissioning and disposal of assets. 

Soft Skills:

Excellent English communications skills (written/oral)

Interpersonal skills and working as part of a team

Provide feedback and contribute to the development and growth of the team

General:

The members should have 2 to 4 years of experience on IT Asset Management.

Members should be flexible to work in rotational shifts.

Should be a good team player.

Responsibilities:

• Create assets within the asset management database based on purchase orders
• Create relationship between Server and systems or System and software's
• Create SLA's to the Parent CI's -Remove CI relationship between users, computer systems, servers and routers
• Add work info for different tasks that we do within ITAM
• Assign the CI to the end users based on Client requests
• Ability to follow documented instructions and processes
• BMC Remedy products such as ITSP or ITSM
• Decommissioning and disposal of assets
• Update assets within the asset management database based on operational changes
• Financial and asset concepts (e.g. depreciation, fixed assets, leases)
• Basic knowledge of IT operations and data center operations
• Knowledge of IT hardware (servers, workstations, storage, networking, peripherals)
• Perform work within time constraints and quotas
• Remove relationship between Server and systems or System and software's
• Remove SLA's to the Parent CI's Required Skills
• Strong analytical and pattern matching skills
• Submit web-based requests to disposal companies for disposal of assets
• Update Service Request records with progress and completion information, Chorus and ITSM
• Perform Configuration Management audit and correction with technical towers and service owners
