Applications are invited for Walk In Interview by Project Director, Goa State AIDS Control Society, Panjim for
the following post purely on Contract Basis initially for a period of One Year.
1. Assistant Director (CST)/ 1
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000/-
University degree in Medicine or Nursing or pharmacy /Masters in Public Health or Health Management or Social Work or in any other relevant field with minimum 3years of experience in Health sector.
2. Assistant Director (ICTC)/ 1
Pay Scale:Rs. 25,000/-
3. Assistant Director (Social Protection /Mainstreaming) / 1
Pay Scale:Rs. 25,000/-
Master’s degree in social sciences ( Social work/sociology/psychology) from a recognized University with Minimum 5 years of experience in all states except states like where minimum 3 years of experience is essential - Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram, J&K, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Goa, Tripura, Sikkim, Pondicherry, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar.

Degree Desirable: Experience in Counseling and Human
Development or Experience in Laboratory Service
3. Assistant Director (Social Protection /Mainstreaming) / 1
Pay Scale:Rs. 25,000/-

The HIV/AIDS Control activities in Goa, commenced way back in 1984 with surveillance done amongst High-Risk Groups through Directorate of Health Services. The Health Education Bureau at the Directorate of Health Services was the Nodal Agency for all the Programme activities. In 1986-87, when the first HIV case came to light, the STD Control Programme at the Directorate of Health Services coordinated all the activities, which finally led to the creation of AIDS Cell at the Directorate of Health Services.
