Assistant Director of Horticulture/Subject Matter Specialist/ Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology Job position in Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC)

Assistant Director of Horticulture/Subject Matter Specialist, Class-II
No. of Post : 02
Qualification : (i) (a) possess a Second Class Master degree in any branch of Horticulture or (b)(i) a Second Class bachelor’s degree in any branch of Horticulture and (ii) have about three years exclusive or combined experience in Horticultural Research or Horticultural Extenstion Service or Horticultural Education or Horticultural Engineering (c) the qualification specified in clauses (a) & (b) shall have been obtained from any of the Universities or institution established or incorporeted by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. (ii) The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classificstion and Recruitment (General ) Rules,1967 (iii) adequate knowledge of Gujatati and/or Hindi
Pay : Rs. 9,300/--Rs. 34800/- ( Grade pay- Rs. 5,400)

Qualification : (1) Possess a Second Class degree in Physics as a Principal subject or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Electronics Engineering or Chemical Technology of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed University as a under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. (2) Posses he basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. (3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Pay : Rs. 44,900-142,400
Age : Not more than 35 years
Application fee : Candidates of General Category have to pay Rs.100/- as Application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Gujarat State & candidates who is physically disable do not have to pay application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Other State have to pay application fee.
