Assistant Director (Town Planning) job recruitment in  Mizoram Public Service Commission.

Name/No. of Post : Assistant Director (Town Planning)/2

Qualification :

1. Bachelor Degree in Planning or its equivalent as considered by the Institute of Town Planners, India.

Desirable :

1) Master Degree in Planning

2) Associate Member of Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI)

3) Working knowledge of Mizo Language upto Middle School Standard.

2. Computer Proficiency : i) Basic Knowledge of Computer Application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) or Diploma in Computer Application/ Certificate in Computer Application from institutions recognised by Mizoram State Council of Technical Education or such other courses of the level as determined by the Government from time to time. ii) Course on Computer Concepts Plus (CCC+) or Expert Computer Course (ECC) under NIELIT, or iii) ‘O’ Level. ‘A’ Level. ‘B’ Level Courses under NIELITor iv) Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology/Electronics from Polytechnic Institutions or Institutions recognized under Govt.of Mizoram or Govt.of India, or v) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India, or vi) Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/Information Technology/Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India.

Salary : PB-3 Rs.15,600-39,100/- + GP Rs.5400

Fee : Rs.320/- (or Rs.270/- SC/ST)

The Government of Mizoram vide Notification No A.11020/1/87 -P7AR(GSW) dated 12.7.1991 has appointed Pu M.Lalmanzuala IAS to be a first Member of the Commission and he joined on 15.7.1991.
