Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or Engineering Degree in Mining or Mechanical or Drilling from a recognized University.

Experience: Two years' experience of scrutiny and analysis of proposals or programmes related to development of Science and Technology and monitoring their implementation from Central or State Government organisations and Research and Development organizations in Public and Private Sectors. DUTIES: To render assistance in the implementation of programmes and to make preliminary analysis & scrutiny of proposals programmes / projects etc.

Commission on the Superior Civil Services in India under the
Chairmanship of Lord Lee, which submitted its Report in 1924,
recommended the setting up of the Public Service Commission. This led to
the establishment of the first Public Service Commission on 1 October
