Job Description: Provide support to senior faculty in all academic matters, conduct courses, co- ordination with faculty and students, taking up project consultancy, organizing workshops and other academic activities, etc.
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate Degree / Diploma (minimum 2 years program) in Industrial Design from premier institutions like NID, IIT or equivalent with core courses in Product Design with minimum three (3) years of professional experience in industry / academia in the area of design. OR Degree / Diploma (minimum 4 years program) in Industrial Design from premier institutions like NID, IIT or equivalent with core courses in Product Design with minimum Five (5) years of professional experience in industry / academia in the area of design.
Professional Experience: The candidate should have professional experience in industrial
projects and should have experience working on entire span of the design process. She/he should have good experience Design Research, Form exploration and Prototyping. The candidate should have good skills to manage academic programmes.
Essential Skill Set: Should have excellent Manual/Digital product visualisation skills., Strong conceptual skills, Good grasp over the various domains under Industrial Design and proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills, Should have good working knowledge of at least one Graphic design software,(vector/raster) and one 3D Design software (parametric/non-parametric)
Strong knowledge of various materials and prototyping methods in product design,Should have working knowledge of industrial manufacturing systems and its relevant standards

Note: The candidate should submit a print copy OR a digital copy (CD/DVD/USB) of his/her portfolio highlighting professional works for evaluating their professional skills, along with the application. Candidates not having the core educational qualifications or professional experience in industrial design/product design will not be considered.
Professional work experience is the no. of years of experience gathered after completing education and not during the course of any academic programs.
Pay: Consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand only) per month.
