Job Description
- QA/QC functions in the laboratory for daily operations working closely with laboratory supervisors
- Collect, compile and analyze large sets of QA/QC analytical data and be able to draw useful conclusions from datasets.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and optimize laboratory instrumentation
- Researching and purchasing of new laboratory instrumentation
- Maintain service contracts and are responsible for preventative maintenance on instrumentation
- Certificate or diploma in laboratory field (desirable but not essential)
- Graduate Chemist is welcomed.
- Experience in any of the following areas (or exposure to) – sample prep, CLAS, AAS, XRF, XRD & ICP MS.
- Having an understanding of quality assurance and quality control protocols with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to multi task and have methodical, well organised approach to any work
