Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Degree/Diploma
  • Experience: 1-3 years

General Function : As a Coffee Shop Manager, this position will be responsible for setting the department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability. You will coordinate the delivery of the freshest and best quality product at a competitive retail price. Additionally you will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.

Working hours: The Job Holder will be expected to work flexibly within the opening hours of the shop, including weekends and bank holidays

Remuneration: 12000-15000/- pm

Responsibilities and Essentials Duties:

  • To work in close liaison with the Shop Manager ·
  • To develop and manage relationships with customers, staff and suppliers. ·
  • To train and manage café staff. ·
  • To manage all aspects of the daily running of the Café including some food preparation, restocking and delivery of goods to the café in liaison with the Shop Manager, ensuring its smooth running and proper administration. ·
  • Provide reports on request and liaise with the accountant as necessary. ·
  • Prepare information for the payroll to pass to the Payroll administrator. ·
  • To contribute to the successful implementation of new cafe developments

  • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing attitude.
  • Ability to motivate associates to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Good communication skills for dealing with a diverse staff.
  • Ability to meet gross margin and profitability.
  • Vendor negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of customers and respond effectively to their needs.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to sanitation and food safety standards.
