Job Description

Position Purpose:

As FRAOps Centre of Innovation (COI) team, we foster and enable continuous FRA Ops performance, inspire new ideas, disruptive innovation, and customer-oriented solutions bringing best service solutions to the business. There is a need to develop high quality data analytics solutions, ensure sustainability of the operations, sharpen the quality of output, manage relationship with various stakeholders and support the execution of the strategic innovation roadmap by collaborating with cross-divisional working groups. The COI organization is seeking experienced Technical associates with strong understanding of business / finance operations. This position is a fantastic development role for a career in data science & analytics in the finance domain. The Centre of Innovation profile is a high visibility, senior management sponsored role, whose objective is to provide Novartis leadership with insights on financial data and to handle various innovation projects within the wider FRA function. In this role, you will work on solving financial and business challenges and opportunities, delivery productivity savings through projects and initiatives over process, data and digital. You will report to the Lead-Centre of Innovation who will play a wider oversight role along with other responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Execute the strategic priorities to achieve the vision of FRA Ops Center of Innovation and identify budget/resources needs
• Work closely with the Global Process Delivery Managers team to ensure consistent delivery if innovation strategy to the NGSCs and FSCs
• Partner with internal and external network to help drive innovation in FRA Ops through NGSCs/FSCs
• Train the associates in multiple techniques such as Design Thinking, Agile etc. Foster a culture of design thinking focusing on building innovative customer centric data analytic solutions
• Identify from Finance Core, Performance analysis and new solutions for data and digital opportunities for improvement and change
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• University Degree, MBA desirable with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of SAP ERP and hands on programming capability on key technologies such as Python, RPA, VBA Macro, SharePoint, SQL etc.
• Education in Change management, Project management, facilitation /coaching with experience driving process improvement or Innovation projects
• Demonstrated analytical, process-oriented and data driven mind-set with ability to collaborate and motivate stakeholders of varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrixed organization.
