Assistant Production Manager
Job Description
JobResponsibilities:
Followingthe guidance of the Plant Manager and relevant company policies and
procedures,ensure the achievement of daily/weekly/monthly production plan. To coordinate
andcontrol all the production related activities for the production, maintenance,quality,
shippingand receiving to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in
timewith quality and cost effectiveness.
· Production schedule: Schedule production,e.g. materials delivery, giving priority to
customersneeds to ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly production plan by
coordinatingother function units during the whole process in the responsible areas,
includingregular production, start-up, shut-down, trial production.
· Preventive/Predictive/Breakdown Maintenance (PM): Ensure the implementation of
maintenanceprogrammes using RBWS concepts.
· Quality control: Initiate periodic product inspections invarious stages of production
accordingto product specification to ensure the customers’ expectations and
companyquality standards are met. Observe closely waste in production and take
correctiveaction to solve routine problems. Report to plant manager any major
findings.
· Production record: According to the reporting system of theproduction line, keep the
