Assistant Professor Agricultural Science recruitment in Bundelkhand University, Jhansi
1. Institute of Agricultural Sciences (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-02)
Essential Qualifications : (i) Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. Two years experience of Teaching/Research/Extension after master's degrec in concerned discipline. (ii) For the candidates having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted; Essentially of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations,2009(and also as per ICAR letter No. 23(46)1:7010-EQR(Edn.)dated 26th December,2011,issued by ADG(EQR) and the candidate has at least two full length public: dons having a NAAS rating of not less than 4.0 on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with PhD degree without course work will not be considered for NET exemption. (iii) Further , the award of degrees to candidates registered for the NI.Phil/Ph.D Programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/By Itms/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions (a) Ph.D degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only,(b)Evaluation of the Ph.D thesis by the least two external examiners,(c) Candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one in a referred journal from out of his/her Ph.d work,(d)The candidates had presented two papers in seminars/conferences from out of his/her Ph.D work,(e)Open Ph.D Viva-voce of the Candidate had been conducted(a)to(e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Registrar/Dean(Academic Affairs)/Dean(University instructions)/Director(Resident Instructions). Desirable- Ph.D in relevant discipline.
2. Institute of Law (UR-02)
Qualification : Essential Qualifications-(i) at least 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent Grade (such as, B+) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in a defined scale, Provided that LL.M. course with one year duration introduced by the UGC in [ j and are allowed to be one of the minimum essential qualification for Assistant Professorship as at present, shall not be considered as one of the essential qualification unless supported by and supplemented with M.Phil. degree. This proviso shall come into effect only after the same is notified and shall not apply to those who have completed the one year LL.M. course or entered into the course before the date of notification. (ii) Good academic record in all public examinations throughout academic career having similar percentage of marks or Grade or Cumulative Grade Point Average in a given scale; and (iii) Clearance of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited body by the UGC tike SET/SLET, Provided that in case of Law, such a Test conducted by Bar Council of India for the purpose, if any, shall prevail. However, in case a qualified faculty is not availablo or found suitable for a position of Assistant Professor in any subject, a Lecturer/Teaching Assistant with at least 3 years' experience may be considered if found suitable for the assignment, Provided that such an incumbent has to complete his/her research work and submit the thesis for his/her Ph.D. degree within 3 years during which period increment may got be given. In case a qualified faculty is not available or found suitable for a position of Assistant Professor, an applicant may be offered the position of Lecturer/teaching Assistant for a period on such terms and conditions as may be mutually agreed upon.
3. Department of Physics (SC-01)
Essential Oualifications-1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)at the master's degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University , or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university .
2. Beside fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET . 3. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub clauses (i) and (ii) above, candidates , who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grant C mission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award or Ph.D) Regulations , 2009 or fulfilling the condition; as laid down by the University (Annexure IV) may be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in the University.
Fee Details : Application Fee is Rs. 1000/-(Rupees One Thousand Only) and in case of SC/ST Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only). Payment of Application Fee is to made by Demand Draft Payable at S.B.I, Jhansi in favour of Finance Officer, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
