Assistant Professor
Applied Physics Jobs recruitment in Central University of Jharkhand purely temporary basis.

1. Applied Physics / 01 UR

Essential i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master’s degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii), candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulation 2009 or the subsequent regulations if notified by the UGC, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor, or equivalent position in Universities / Colleges / Institution.

Further, the award of degrees to candidates registered for the M.Phil/Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinance/ By laws/ Regulations of the Institution exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of “NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges / Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: -(a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; (b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; (c) Candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one in a refereed journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work; (d) The candidate had presented two papers in seminars/conferences from out of his/her Ph.D. work; (e) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted. (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/ProVice-Chancellor/Dean (Academic Affairs) /Dean (university Instructions)” NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

2. Energy Engineering /02 ( 01 UR,1 SC)

Essential: i. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech.) in Power system/ Mechanical Engineering / Energy Management/ Energy Engineering, or Equivalent branch with B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering. ii. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: 1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; iv. Papers presented at conferences and / or in refereed journals.

3. Land Resource Management /1 OBC

a) Disaster Management

Essential: i. Desirable: 1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; i. Papers presented at conferences and / or in refereed journals. Desirable: i) Academic/ Working Experience in the field of Disaster Management (M.Sc. Geology/ Geography) ii) M.A. Geography and/or Ph.D. (pursuing) in the related field.
