Qualification : 192 & 204 : Assistant Professor Applied Science And Humanities & Assistant Professor Mathematics: a) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least with at least 55% marks { 50%, excluding any grace marks, in case of scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and Visually differently abled) Categories/Ph.D. degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991. } or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. b) The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/AIU. c) The candidate who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for Award of Ph.D degree regulations), 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. d) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted

205 : Librarian - a) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks {50%, excluding any grace marks, in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe/ Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently abled) Categories/ Ph.D. degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991} or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian/foreign University. b) The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conduct by the UGC, CSIR/AIU. c) The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree regulations), 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. 206 : Physical Training Instructor - ) A Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks {50%, excluding any grace marks, in case of Scheduled marks, in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and Visually differently abled) categories/Ph.D degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991} or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with a consistently good academic record. b) Has represented the University/College at the inter-university/collegiate competition or the State and/or national championship. c) The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/AIU. d) The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree regulations), 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 AGP Rs.6000
Age as on 1st January 2018 : Minimum = 18 Years Maximum = 40 Years
Scheme of Selection : The eligibility shall be governed in terms of J&K, Government Engineering Colleges (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules of 2017 notified vide SRO 272 of 2017 dated: 06.06.2017 and the selection process shall be conducted in accordance with Rule 51 of Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980 as amended up-to-date
Examination/Interview Fee : After successful submission of the form online, a challan will be generated indicating the basic details of the candidate which inter-alia shall indicate the amount of fee to be deposited in the J&K Bank branch as given below:-
General Category = Rs.805.00
Reserved Categories = Rs.405.00
The total amount of fee payable shall include Rs.05/- as service charges of the J&K Bank.
