Teaching Positions
Assistant Professor
Subject/No. of Post : Applied Chemistry/ 2 (UR)
Qualification : i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master’s degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii), candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor, or equivalent position in Universities / Colleges / Institutions. iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Qualification : First Class B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science Degree/Information Technology) or equivalent OR First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science (M.Lib. I.Sc.) OR Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science B.Lib or B.L.I.Sc.) with three years' experience in the field and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA). Desirable: Three years’ experiences in Library Automation preferably in University/Institute/ College/PSU etc.
Pay Band : Rs. 15600-39100
Upper Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years
Application Processing Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for General and OBC candidates and NO FEE for SC, ST, PH and Women candidates. The payment shall be made through bank Challan given along with this advertisement.
