Assistant Professor Distance Learning / Guest Faculties recruitment in Tezpur University

Assistant Professor (Contractual); Centre for Open & Distance Learning (CODL); (01 No.)

Qualification :  Good academic record (as stated at NOTE below) with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master's Degree level in Sociology from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Guest Faculties; Chemical Sciences; (02 Nos.)

Qualification : Good academic record (as stated at NOTE below) with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master's Degree level in Chemistry from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Speciaiizations: Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry

Assistant Professor (Contractual); Department of Education (03 Nos.)

Qualification : Good academic record (as stated at NOTE below) with a Master's degree in Arts / Humanities / Science and M.Ed. (from an institution recognized by NCTE) each with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed. OR Good academic record (as stated at NOTE below) with M.A. in Education and B.Ed. each with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed.

Pay / Honorarium:

(i) For Assistant Professor (Education) - Rs. 50,000/- (Fixed) PM

(ii) For Assistant Professor (Sociology, CODL) - Rs.30,0001- (Fixed) PM

(iii) For Guest Faculties - Rs. 1,000/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month. No other allowances, etc. will be admissible.
