Qualification : A) Good academic record with at least 55% marks at Masters degree level in the relevant subjects or an equivalent grade B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O.A.B.C.D.E &F at the Masters degree in the relevant subject Relaxable by 5% (i.e from 55% to 50%) marks at Master Degree level and 5% at graduate level under the term 'Good Academic Record to SC/ST/ Physically & Visually handicapped candidates only.
Assistant Professor in Economics /1 Post (Reserved for Physically Disabled Candidate)
Qualification : A) Good academic record with at least 55% marks at Masters degree level in the relevant subjects or an equivalent grade B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O.A.B.C.D.E &F at the Masters degree in the relevant subject Relaxable by 5% (i.e from 55% to 50%) marks at Master Degree level and 5% at graduate level under the term 'Good Academic Record to SC/ST/ Physically & Visually handicapped candidates only.
B) For the pod feted under eerie/ number 7 above Good academic
record with at least 55% narks or an equivalent Grade at the Masters degree
with cube:: Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, M Sc. in Computer
Science. M.Sc. (IT), MCA, M.E. (Computer Engineering). M.Tech. [Computer
Technology)
C) Candidates for all the above poets besides fighting the above qualifications should have cleared the eligibility test NET/SET or for Assistant Professor conducted by UGC/CSIR/University recognized by UGC. However candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Greats Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree Regulations, 2000) in the concerned subjects as incorporated in relevant Goa University Ordnance, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET.
