Qualification  :  Prescribed minimum qualification and experience: For Faculty position, the Institute has adopted Recruitment Rules applicable in NITs therefore, before applying candidates are advised to read the Schedule 'E' of NIT Statutes (Amended 2017) (Ref. Pay Scales :  PB-3, Rs.15, 600-39,100 with AGP Rs. 6000/ 7000 (Level 10 / 11 in 7th CPC)

Age Limit :  Fresh appointment beyond the age of 60 years is discouraged except in the case of faculty with exceptionally brilliant research career and with ongoing or approved externally funded research project.
