Assistant Professor Job vacancies in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade- Centre for Regional Trade purely on contractual basis
Qualification : 1. Consistently good academic record with at least First Class ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Graduate or Post Graduate or LLB. or LLB. level, or equivalent qualification in a related discipline relevant to specific regions/countries, including Africa, ASEAN, China, EU, Japan, Korea, etc. 2. Relevant work experience or research and studies produced in trade or investment law related areas, or in a related discipline relevant to specific regions/countries, including Africa, ASEAN, China, EU, Japan, Korea, etc. 3. Minimum 3 years' sectoral (Officer Level)/research/teaching experience in trade or investment law, or in a related discipline relevant to specific regions/countries, including Africa, ASEAN, China, EU, Japan, Korea, etc. 4. Must have qualified NET. 5. A Ph. D qualification is desirable. 6. Papers presented in conferences and/or published in refereed journals is desirable.
Tenure: Appointment other than on deputation shall initially be on contract for a period one year extendable for an appropriate number of years thereafter on the basis of performance of the incumbent and the future requirement of the Centre.
Scale of Pay: The scales of pay for the post of Assistant Professor shall be equivalent to those of a Faculty Members at IIFT, as may be revised from time to time.The selected candidate will have to join immediately.
