i) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities). 
ii) A Master's degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

10) Horticulture
i) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities).
ii) A Master's degree in the subject of Horticulture (Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Spices and Plantation Crops, Floriculture and Landscaping) with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

b) Farm Machinery and Power
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4years duration(State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering/ Farm Machinery  and Power or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in  a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
c) Soil and Water Engineering
 i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
 ii) A Master’s Degree in Soil and Water Engineering or Soil and Water Conservation Engineering or Irrigation and Draining Engineering or Watershed Management Engineering or related disciplines with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade

12) Agricultural Business Management:
i) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering / Home Science / CABM of 4 years duration(State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s degree in Agri. Business Management with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
13) Veterinary Science

FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

2. Basic Sciences & Humanities:
A) Mathematics:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.
ii) A Master’s Degree in Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) 

3. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering/ Farm Machinery and Power or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

4. Food Business Management:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Science (Preferred) or A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Dairy Technology/ Agriculture of 4years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Business Administration with Food Business Management / Agribusiness Management with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

5. Food Process Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology /Food Science & Technology/ Food Science (Preferred) or A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Food Engineering/ Food Process Engineering / Dairy and Food Engineering/ Dairy Engineering/ Agricultural Process and Food Engineering/ Processing and Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Engineering / Food Process Engineering & Management with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

6. Food Processing Technology:

7. Food Safety & Quality Assurance:
A) Food Chemistry:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology of 4 years duration (Preferred) or A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (as major)/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry (as major) (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. 8. Processing and Food Engineering:

ii) A Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering/ Agro-Energy Engineering/ Bio-Energy Engineering or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Soil and Water conservation Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/ Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Soil and water Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering/ Watershed Management Engineering/ Land and Water Resources Engineering or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 42 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST, BC and for Person With Disability for 10 years is admissible to the various categories
