EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO. Estt/7230/2020
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of 04 (Four) Full-Time Contractual Assistant Professor in V.I. for the Department of Disability Studies purely on temporary basis.
Qualifications for the said posts are given below: A) Essential Qualification: 1. Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (as per the RCI norms and UGC Regulations, Gazette dt. September 18, 2010 section 1.1.1) 2. M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area (VI) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ in ‘10 point scale’ of UGC. Or An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI. 3. Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.
B) Desirable Qualification: 1. M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education. 2. Experience for a period of at least 2 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability. Specialisation : In V.I. as per RCI norms.
Pay : Rs. 40,000/- (consolidated) for the post.
Age : Not more than 55 years as on 01/01/2020
