Essential Qualifications: Master's degree from recognized
University in the relevant subject with at least 55% or its equivalent grade
and good academic record. Candidates should have cleared eligibility test
(NET/SET) for Assistant Professor conducted by UGC/ C.S.I.R. or similar test
accredited by UGC. However, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D degree in
accordance with the University Grants Commission (minimum standards and
procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations 2009 as incorporated in the
relevant Goa University ordinance, shall be exempted from the requirement of
the minimum eligibility condition NETSLET/SET. If the candidates with NET/SET
or Ph.D. degree are not available/found suitable then the candidates fulfilling
other qualifications will be considered on temporary basis.
