Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anatomy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology / 4

ii. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Cardiology / 2

Essential Qualification :

ii. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above and/or iii. D.M. in Cardiology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 

Experience: One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Cardiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Cardiology (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualifying recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of D.M. in Cardiology or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Endocrinology / 1

Essential Qualification : 

i. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above. 

ii. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above and/or iii. D.M. in Endocrinology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 

Experience: One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Endocrinology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Endocrinology (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualifying recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of D.M. in Endocrinology or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medical Service / 3

Essential Qualification :

Essential Qualification :

iii. M.Ch. in Neuro-Surgery (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

FOR NON-MEDICAL CANDIDATES: 

Essential Qualification: 

i. Post Graduate Qualifications, i.e. Master’s Degree in Pharmacology or allied subjects. 

ii. A Doctorate (Ph. D.) Degree from a recognized University/institute. 

Experience : 3 years’ teaching and/or research experience in Pharmacology or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree

Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Medicine / 1

ii. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Pulmonary Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Radiotheraphy / 1

Assistant Professor of Transfusion Medicine / 1

Essential Qualification: 

i. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above 

ii. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Transfusion Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. 

Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Transfusion Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Transfusion Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Urology / 1

Essential Qualification: 

i. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above. 

ii. Same of Professor of Anesthesiology at Post Code 1 above and/or 

iii. M.Ch. in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 

Experience: One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Urology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. in Urology (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualifying recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of M.Ch. in Urology or qualification recognized equivalent thereto

Pay Scale : PB-3: Rs.15600-39100 + AGP 8000/- (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.30,000/- with NPA (NPA applicable only to Medical candidates)

Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years as on closing date i.e 14.07.2017 

Fee : A Demand Draft in favour of the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006, towards the examination fee (non-refundable fee), and Rs.500/ for General & OBC category & Rs.250/ for SC/ST category) should be attached in original with the application.
