Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale ; wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. u. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Hi. Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii) candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree III accordance with the University Grants .commissson (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted form the requirement of and appointment of Lecturer or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.

About Company
The
idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir
Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad, who
contributed an article to the columns of 'The Pioneer'' urging the
foundation of a University at Lucknow. A little later Sir Harcourt
Butler, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E, was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the
United Provinces, and his well-known interest in all matters under his
jurisdiction, specially in matters educational, gave fresh life and
vigour to the proposal.
