Assistant Professor/ Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) Jobs opportunity in Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute

Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine)

Eligibility : As per MCI norms.

Pay Scale : AICTE pay scale Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.70001-(AGP) per month + NM + applicable allowances (pre-revised).

Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine)

Eligibility : MBBS with Diploma in Radiation Medicine (DRM) or PG Degree in relevant field from Recognized University/ Board / Institution. The candidate must be registered with the Medical Council of Indian States I Union Territories. Preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in the respective field in recognized institutions. Residential single / family accommodation available inside hospital premises. Private practice outside hospital working hours is permissible as per existing rules.

Pay Scale : Rs.30,000 - 1,10,000 (PB-4) Rs. 15,100/- (GP) per month + applicable allowances (revised pay scale to be effective from 1st April 2017) against Pre-revised pay scale of Rs.12000 - 40000 (PB-4) - Rs. 6400/- (GP) per month + applicable allowances.

Age Limit : The upper age limit will be finalized by the Appointing Authority based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
