Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant Professor on Contract/Lecture Basis for the academic year  2018-2019. 

Essential Qualifications:  (i) Good academic record with at least 55% MEWS an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever gracing system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and has secured at least a second class at graduate level, or has secured an average of 50% marks in the previous three examinations. (i) The candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Mnimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 as incorporated in the relevant Goa University Ordinance, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/SET. If candidates fulfilling essential qualifications (I) and (iii) are not available, then candidates fulfilling essential qualifications () may be considered for appointment.  Candidates selected on Contract basis MI be considered for appointment for academic year 2018-19 only purely on contractual basis and the candidate so appointed will have no legal right or clan on the said post next year Pay scale and service conditions shall be as laid down by Goa University/Government of Goa. M other requirements prescribed by UGC/Goa University and Government of Goa shall be applicable.
