2. Assistant Professor/1 post
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. International Relations/Political Science/Economics with specialization/interest preferably in South Asia and Asia-Pacific regions. Strong Knowledge about China, Vietnam, Naval, Ocean and Maritime studies, are desirable.
Experience: 2years post-doctoral research/teaching experience. Job Requirement: Ability to design and carry out independent research projects as well as take part in the sponsored research projects of the Group. The candidate must possess good analytical and writing skillsand contribute as a team player. The candidate should preferably be in a position to generate funded research proposal.
3. Postdoctoral Associates /2 posts
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. International Relations/Political Science/Economics with specialization/interest preferably in South Asia and Asia-Pacific regions. Strong Knowledge about China, Vietnam, Naval, Ocean and Maritime studies, are desirable. The candidate should possess good academic record, ability to design and carry out independent research projects, temperament to work as part of a team and possess good analytical and writing skills. Strong Knowledge about China, Vietnam, Australia, Naval, Ocean and Maritime studies, are desirable.
For one post, person with specialization in Tibetology, Tibetan Buddhism, Social Behaviourism relating to the Monpas tribe and Tawang region is essential. The selected candidate should be ready to take field trips, collate and compile field data and carry out independent research projects and contribute to the team effort.
4. Research Fellows/ 5 posts
Essential Qualification: M.Tech in Electronic and Communications, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering and Science or Master’s degree in Defence Technology Management, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, International Relations and Economics.
Candidates with 2 years experience or MPhil qualification can be considered for Senior Research Fellowship
