Assistant Professor / Professor

1. Professor

Salary: Rs. 55000

(I) Essential qualification- (i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognised under the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970 (48 of 1970); (ii) A Post-graduate degree in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedules to the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970. No. of Post(s)- 01 (II) Experience-  Ten years teaching experience in concerned subject or five years teaching experience as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject or total ten years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions  Minimum Five papers published in a recognised journal. (III) Desirable- (i) Post-graduate teaching experience in the respective discipline; (ii) Original published papers or books on the concerned subject; (iii) good knowledge of Arabic or Persian and English.

2. Associate Professor

Salary: Rs. 50000 No. of Post(s)- 01

(I) Essential qualification- (i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognised under the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970 (48 of 1970); (ii) A Post-graduate degree in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedules to the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970.

(II) Experience- Five years teaching experience in concerned subject or total Five years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions

Minimum three papers published in a recognised journal. (III) Desirable- Good knowledge of Arabic or Persian and English.

3. Associate Professor

Essential qualification-(i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970); (ii) a Post-Graduate degree in the subject or specialty concerned included in the schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

Desirable: (i) Teaching experience in the concerned discipline. (ii) Good knowledge of Arabic or Persian.

Age: not more than 45 years.

5. Assistant Professor

Salary: Rs. 45000 No. of Post(s)- 01

Essential qualification-(i) A Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970); (ii) a Post-Graduate degree in the subject or specialty concerned included in the schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

6. Assistant Professor

Essential qualification--(i) A Bachelor degree in subject of Basic Science (B.Sc.) – Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the respective subject with minimum percentage of 55.

Desirable: (i) Teaching experience in the concerned discipline. (ii) Good knowledge of Arabic or Persian

Age: not more than 45 years.
