Assistant Professor/ Retainer Consultant/ Medical Officer Job vacancies in Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute

1. Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine) (regular full time post)

No. of Post :  1

Eligibility : As per MCI norms.

Pay Scale : AICTE pay scale Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.7000/-(AGP) per month + NPA + applicable allowances

2. Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) (regular full time post)

No. of Post :  1 (in case no suitable candidate is found for the post of Asst. Professor)

Eligibility : MBBS with Diploma in Radiation Medicine (DRM) or PG Degree in relevant field from Recognized University / Board / Institution.

Pay Scale : Rs.12000 - 40000 (PB-4) + Rs. 6400/- (GP) per month + applicable allowances.

3. Retainer Consultant (Nuclear Medicine) (contractual full time post)

No. of Post :  1 (in case no suitable candidate is found for the post of Asst. Professor / Medical Officer)

Eligibility : Candidate must be a senior faculty with MD or PG Diploma in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University / Board / Institution.

Pay Scale : Pay & allowances on negotiable terms

Age Limit : The upper age limit will be finalized by the Appointing Authority based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.

In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
