Assistant Professor – History/ 01 post
Assistant Professor - Public Administration/01 post
Qualification : Assistant Professor: Arabic, Translation, History, Public Administration, Centre for Women Studies: (i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. (iii) Provided further, the award of degree to candidates registered for the M.Phil/Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:- a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; c) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted; d) Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal; e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D work. (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice- Chancellor/Dean(Academic Affairs)/Dean(University instructions).” (iv) Knowledge of Urdu is Essential as per Clause - 6 of the Ordinance No.1 of the University. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Polytechnic): Civil Engineering (i) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent. (ii) If the candidate has a Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology, first class or equivalent is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. (iv) Knowledge of Urdu is Essential as per Clause - 6 of the Ordinance No.1 of the University.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100
Trained Graduate Teachers - TGT: English
Qualification : a) Four years integrated degree course in Teacher’s Training with an aggregate of 50% marks like B.A. Ed. or B.Sc. Ed. of NCERT. OR Graduate/Post Graduate with 50% marks in the subjects concerned and B.Ed. degree with 50% marks. English as an elective subject at Degree level. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. Knowledge of Urdu is Essential as per Clause - 6 of the Ordinance No.1 of the University. Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications. Physical Education: 1. University Degree with 50% marks and Diploma in Physical Education or BPED (4 years) from a recognized Institution or its equivalent. 2. Knowledge of Urdu is Essential as per Clause - 6 of the Ordinance No.1 of the University.

Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
