Qualification
Anatomy
For Medical : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MS/MD (Anatomy) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS/MD OR
For Non-Medical : a) Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Human Anatomy/M.Sc Medical Anatomy/M.Sc Physical Anthropology. b) Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D degree from a foreign University/Institute recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Experience : 3 years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D degree.
Gastroenterology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Gastroenterology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : 1 year teaching and research experience, after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Obstetrics & Gynaecology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Ophthalmology : a. Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS/MD.
Psychiatry : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Psychiatry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD
Radiotherapy(Medical Oncology) : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. DM (Medical Oncology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : No Experience required Note: 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course . However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Urology : a. Experience : 1 year teaching and research experience after
obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch in case of 2 years M.Ch. course .
However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing
the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch. or qualification recognized equivalent
thereto.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100(Pay Band-3) + Grade Pay Rs.8,000/- with minimum pay of Rs.30,000/-
