Qualification 

Biochemistry : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD  or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in Biochemistry after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Biochemistry or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Dentistry : a. A recognized Dental qualification included in the Part-I or Part III of the Schedule Dentist Act, 1948 (persons possessing qualification included in the Part-I or Part-III of schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (1) and (2) or (4) of Section 10 of the Dentist Act, 1948). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MDS in the concerned dental specialty of a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

ENT :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Otolaryngology) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in Otolaryngology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS in Otolaryngology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

General Medicine :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

General Surgery : a. Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Obstetrics & Gynecology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in Obstetrics and Gynecology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Ophthalmology :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Ophthalmology) or a recognized qualification equivalent.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in Ophthalmology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS in Ophthalmology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Orthopedics : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Orthopaedics) or a recognized qualification equivalent.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in Orthopaedics after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS in Orthopaedics or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Pediatrics :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Radio Diagnosis : a. Experience :  3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 (Pay Brand-3) + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000/- with minimum pay of Rs. 30,000/-. (Unrevised)
