Qualification

Cytology  :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pathology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution.

Otolaryngology (ENT) : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Otolaryngology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.

Hepatology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. DM Hepatology/ Gastroenterology/ Pediatric Hepatology of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  No additional experience required.

Desirable :  6 months experience in Hepatology for candidates with DM Gastroenterology qualification.

Histopathology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pathology) or DM (Histopathology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI

Experience :  3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution after obtaining the degree of MD or No additional Experience required after DM Histopathology.

Neurosurgery : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.Ch Neurosurgery (3 years) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. OR M.Ch in Neurosurgery of six years Integrated course after MBBS. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI

Experience : No experience required. Note: 1 year teaching and research experience, after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch in case of 2 years M.Ch course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Obst. & Gynae. : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience  :   3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Orthopaedics : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. Experience  :   3 years teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the degree of MS.

Pediatric Surgery : a. Experience  : No experience required. Note: 1 year teaching and research experience, after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. Medical Parasitology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Microbiology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty i.e. Microbiology/Parasitology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD. Desirable: 6 months experience in Parasitology.

For Non-Medical: ESSENTIAL a) Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc Medical Microbiology. b) Ph.d. degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.d. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Experience : 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality i.e. Microbiology/Parasitology after obtaining the qualifying degree of Ph.d.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)/MS Orthopaedics of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the degree of MD (PMR). Candidate having MS, atleast 2 years experience in Physical medicine & Rehabilitation Centre of a recognised Institution.

Psychiatry : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Psychiatry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Pulmonary Medicine : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Pulmonary Medicine)/ DM (Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care)/DM (Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience : No experience required. Note: 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Radiotherapy : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Radiotherapy) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Remuneration :  The consolidated remuneration will be Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. One Lac Only) per month.

Age Limit :  The age limit is upto 50 years (age relaxation will be given and considered to the candidate as per Govt. of India rules).
