Assistant Professors   job recruitment in PGIMER

No. of Posts  :  03 (UR-02, UR (EWS) - 01)

Qualification  :  a) Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized/ equivalent) viz. M.Sc. (Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Medical Microbiology). b) Ph.D degree in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission.

Experience :   3 years post-PhD teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned.

Pay Scale :  PB-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000/- with minimum pay of Rs. 30,000/- (pre-revised) plus NPA (for medical personnel) further revised in Pay Matrix (Level-12) as per 7th CPC with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-.

Age Limit :  Upper age limit as on 27.03.2020 (i.e. last date of receipt of applications) shall be not exceeding 50 Years for Assistant Professor.

Selection Procedure :  1. The application of the candidates which will be received with in prescribed date and time and who submit the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Standing Selection Committee of the Institute. In case the number of applicant are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise a criteria for short-listing the candidates which may include holding of written examination.
