Job Description

Job Duties

Pricing 

RFAD Requests
  • Review the RFAD Form and evaluate the information
  • Create Analysis Reports for the Bid
  • Gather appropriate information for pricing strategy and analysis from other UPS functions (BD, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Customer Solutions)
  • Propose pricing offers to Revenue Management Committee based on account strategy, bid analysis, business plan impact, competitive situation, and customer and market benchmarking
  • Execute the Sales approvals with a standard process
  • Implementation of the Contract Rates in the Pricing system

Ad-hoc requests
  • One time request to be validated, analyzed and approved depending on the Pricing authority
  • Critical aspect is the approval Turn-around time to the sales team
  • Implementation of the ad-hoc request rates in the Pricing system

Rate Migration Process
  • Gather competition information on Rate and Accessorial change
  • Monitor Competition pricing and accessorial activities
  • Validate and Implement the revised rates after Rate migration process
  • Audit the rates for implementation through excel tools
  • Co-ordinate with Sales on submissions on documents 

Revenue Management

Profitability report
  • Generate Monthly Profitability report and highlight to the Country RMC team
  • Dashboard preparation to highlight the top customers of the country
  • Collaborate the sales feedback on the top customers
  • Responsible for Customer Profitability Management measurement, tracking and reporting
Compliance report
  • Monthly Compliance dashboard report of new signed customers
Pre-Approved pricing Performance report
  • Monthly sign up performance of pre-approved pricing templates
  • Performance of pre-approved pricing templates

Miscellaneous 
  • Support Revenue Management activities such as training, maintenance of Revenue Management systems, and adhoc projects
  • Perform bid processing, rate review, and analysis of monthly Revenue Management plan and results
  • Conduct audit of system and processes
  • Assist in the development and delivery of the Revenue Management training/education
  • Liaise between Marketing, Business Development and Finance & Accounting to ensure proper execution of Revenue Management policies and initiatives
  • Visit customers with Sales if required 

Qualification
  • Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS office is a core requirement
  • Business understanding of inter departmental jobs & fair understanding of Express industry is an advantage
  • Should be able to work on on-line software’s, with speed and efficiency
