What This Job Involves-

Facilities Transport Operations

To achieve excellence in transport management by managing all aspects of transport service provided to in particular for providing and efficient & cost effective transport network. The transport manager shall assist the transport Lead Pan India or transport India lead in terms of implementing new initiatives & innovations. The transport manager is accountable for the achievement of transport service and achieves Key Performance Indicators, service level agreements targets and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operations Management

To ensure that transport staff provides timely distribution of pickup & drop list is provided to the vendors.

To ensure that transport staff & vendors staff tracks the timely & safe pickups and arrivals of employees & service providers.

Ensure defined travel times are met.

Ensure accident or crisis management is addressed.

Ensure incident reports are circulated within 24 hrs.

To act as a single point of contact for the designated facility for all transport escalations.

To ensure all reports, checklist, statutory compliance is adhered at all times.

To ensure accuracy of the data, analyze the transport costing and highlight the management accordingly.

Ensure the team updates trip data in the TMS as required.

To assist during audit process and provide audit report with proper justification wherever required.

To ensure proper deductions and penalties are reviewed periodically & action taken accordingly.

Implementation of Safe fleet and on time closure of audit findings.

Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as required.

Management Responsibilities

In consultation of Transport city lead or Facility Manager, oversee the operation, staffing, performance, development of transport team. Demonstrate leadership & responsiveness in the team. Understand the transport scope and develop specific processes & procedures to reduce cost & improve client satisfaction. Accomplish Key Performance Indicators as agreed with client Coordinate with transport city lead or facility manager on the goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plan for transport team. To ensure Client Transport Policies, Processes & procedures are adhered by all transport staff in the facility. To ensure necessary training plan is scheduled and train the transport team/ drivers as per schedules.

Leading on-site operations

Are you a pro at giving on-site support? Working with a team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property or facility. You’ll also implement building procedures and performance measures—and ensure that they are maintained at all times. Likewise, you’ll boost on-site operations by promoting best practices and creating better processes. This job will also entail the question “How do I ensure the safety of my colleagues?” You will do this by promoting adherence to health and safety standards.

Winning our clients’ trust

As the Assistant Technical Manager you’ll be working frequently with clients, so you’ll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you’ll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients’ expectations are met each and every time. You will also be the go-to person for any facilities-related concerns.

Keeping an eye on budget and contracts

Do you have a solid background in finance management? As the person in charge, you will take care of the site’s financial operations. Also part of your job is to coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.
