- The requirements analyst must also possess business and technical knowledge to review workflow, documentation and user surveys, and analyze data to identify a solution to a business issue.
- Analysts document requirements with tools such as flowcharts and Unified Modeling Language notation, which analysts use to create a graphic model of the application being developed, just as builders use blueprints to illustrate a home design
