3. Roles and Responsibilities:
i,. The Associate - Engagement (North) will support the Senior Associate - Engagement (North) and Regional Lead - Engagement (North) in their responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity of driving CDGs charter to implement and operationalize e-governance across States and ULBs of North India.
ii. The role holder will work across functions of research & insights, communication & outreach, partnership and program management o establish CDG as a trusted advisor for urban transformation ecosystem. The role holder will also support in the strategy for curating and developing a thriving ecosystem of partners from Industry, start-ups, Academia and Civil Society to support the goals of National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM).
iii. Role holder is expected to support in the adoption of e-governance across all ULBs through state level engagement for North India, using the options of CCSG program adoption. The role holder will support in the implementation and adoption of CCSG and NULP program.
iv. Role holder will be accountable for targets of 100% ulbs on e-governance platform, increase in service levels experienced by citizens, partnering start-ups and industry, addressing on-demand skilling needs of cities & states through the NULP Platform.
i,. M.Tech or Masters in Urban Planning or Urban Management, or MBA or other Masters’ degree from a premier institute.
ii. Demonstrated experience in coordinating with teams and multi-stakeholder processes
iii. 3-8 years of relevant work experience with 2+ years in the Development sector working with stakeholders from centre, state and city level in urban, capacity building, program management or IT domain. For exceptional candidates, 0-3 years of experience and designation as Junior Associate.
iv. Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with and manage expectations of senior executives/experts and their staff.
5. Required Skills and Competencies:
a. Strong analytical, conceptualization and communication skills and advanced skills in the MS office suite
b. Excellent Presentation and Documentation skills
c. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
d. Past experience of working with states is desirable
e. Past experience of project management in IT / e-governance implementation, capacity building, program operations in public sector is desirable
f. Strong analytical, conceptualization and communication skills,
g. Broad understanding of data driven transformation (driving change in people, process and technology) with outstanding attention to detail
h. Entrepreneurial spirit, including ability to work independently and autonomously, willingness to accept responsibilities for results.
i. Excellent program management, organizational and time management skills.
j. Commitment to learning
k. Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be agile, enthusiastic, adaptable, have willingness to learn and time-management skills
l. Should be willing to work at the Institute on a full-time basis.
6. Location: The base location will be a capital city of one of the northern states
7. Remuneration and Experience Certificate: At par with the industry standards, depending on experience and skills. Proof of past remuneration (last received salary/monthly contract payment) would be required.
8. Notice Period: Notice period for termination from either side will be one month or salary in lieu of.
