The Role: Associate, Enterprise Technical Support
- The Location: Hyderabad, India
The Team
The team is a combination of techno-functional product specialists that have in-depth knowledge of the “Enterprise Solutions” offered by S&P Global Market Intelligence. We collaborate with different teams across all departments – Commercial, Technology, and Data to provide extensive product support to clients and ensure the most efficient use of the Enterprise Product Offerings such as API and Xpressfeed.
The Impact
Your position as an Associate is a critical link between the customer and our internal teams. Through your deep functional knowledge of the product, expert technical troubleshooting and suggestions to optimize the product usage, clients will be able to achieve their goal of efficiently integrating our products with their environment. With your help, internal teams will also be able to make timely and client-focused decisions.

- Provide in-depth technical assistance to clients.
- Understand and triage client questions and concerns in an effective and timely manner while making suggestions to improve the product and client experience.
- Bring innovations and automation excellence into the support process and work on projects to develop subject matter expertise and improve process flows.
- Use your coding skills to quickly create applications that will help replicate and resolve client issues.
- Gain basic Database Administration skills on MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Work on creating complex SQL queries to use our data and assist client with query tuning and performance improvements.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing of new implementations
- Maintain Test infrastructure, which comprises of Database Servers (Oracle. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL) and Virtual Machines with different Operating Systems
What we’re looking for:- Minimum of a Bachelor's/College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOPS).
- Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, Computer Networking.
- Knowledge on Operating Systems and their functional dynamics.
- Quick learner, ability to grasp new and emerging technologies and keep pace with product enhancements.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Willing to work in any 24x7 shifts
- Graduate in Computer Science and Commerce/Finance is preferred
- Prior experience in client support teams
- Expert in at least one coding language (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
- Good with RDMS and ability to create complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of OData API, Web Services and their architecture.
- Understanding on UNIX/LINUX environments.
