Your Role and Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with Talent Acquisition, the Executive Search & Integration team (ES&I) is creating a small Proactive Search Team to manage and address anticipated hiring needs at the IBM Consulting Associate Partner level ahead of demand.
  • The Associate Partner hiring Proactive Search Leader (AP PSL) will go out to the market to court qualified top talent with the right skill set that can productively contribute to IBM’s growth strategy. They provide structure and discipline to extended courtship periods and ensure that passive, qualified Associate Partner talent is introduced to IBM’s employer value proposition, our strategy, and opportunites in a compelling manner without undue pressure or influence to commit or submit to an interview.
  • They will do this all with the absence of a formal requisition. The AP PSL will learn how the Proactive Search Framework was developed at the executive search level and adapt to the non-executive level, including the design and execution of formal referral campaigns.
  • The AP PSL needs have an engaging mindset, be a self-starter, and truly act as an ambassador of the newly branded IBM Consulting business unit.
  • This model requires the AP PSL to wear multiple hats in the hunt for quality diverse pipeline talent:
  • Research, Sourcing, & Market Insights in the Absence of a Requisition:
    • Proactive Presentation of Market Landscape & Availability to Key Business Leaders
    • Proactive Presentation of Research Findings & Calibration Slates of Potential Prospects
    • Create Market Insights Upon Client Request
  • Proactive Associate Partner Recruiting & Pipelining Fueling:
    • Candidate Outreach & Engagement
    • EVP Selling & Client Champion Identification
    • Tracking & Pipelining Data Analysis
  • Program Management:
    • Referral Campaigns
    • External / Internal Diversity Events & Initiatives
    • Ensure Consistent Alignment with Diversity Leaders, L&K, & HR
