For this role, incumbents must have both a proven track record building technical platform services and a desire to drive amazing new product capabilities.
On the Milestone’s product team
- We obsess about user experience, and our customers represent small startups to Fortune 50 enterprises
- We are deeply involved in driving product design, from both an API and a UI perspective
- We strive for customer intimacy and meet with our customers regularly to review user experience and design and to ensure we are meeting customers’ needs and solving customer problems
- We lead product innovation from initial strategy through delivery and customer adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own customer journeys on Milestone platform services; drive user configurability and scalability.
- Contribute towards Milestone platform’s overall product aims and objectives.
- Interact with various stakeholders to define market needs and translate those into product enhancements.
- Work closely with engineering and other teams to define and execute product initiatives.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
- Prior experience of Agile methodology and Scrum/Kanban ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives and product demos.
- Demonstrable ability to write crisp atomic user stories and capture key requirements well.
- Good grasp of SaaS and web frameworks and experience in its practical application.
- A deep understanding of user experience and workflow across devices.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Product Manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate computer science degree mandatory
- Working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and API design
- Experience coding in C/C#/Java/Python or similar
