Qualification :  Ph.D. with 1st Class or equivalent in pharmaceutical or chemical science at the preceding degree in the appropriate branches of M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./Msc. Chemistry or in Medicinal Chemistry and consistently good academic records with 8 years of post Ph.D. experience in teaching or research or industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Senior Scientific Officer or equivalent on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in pharmacoinformatics/bio-informatics in terms of guidance of students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities such as Principal Investigator of major research projects. Candidate should have extensive knowledge of computer assisted drug design, ASAR molecular modelling, pharmacophore mapping, drug metabolism is required.

Desirable : Candidates having post doctoral experience with high impact factor research article published in peer reviewed journals will be preferred.
