Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (UBKV) invites application for the position Associate Professor

Education Requirement: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc

Total Vacancy: 5 Posts

Job Locations: Koch Bihar

Experience: 8 - 10 years

Essential Qualifications: (i) A 1st or high 2nd class Master Degree in the subject or discipline following a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Technology/ Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering depending on the post. (ii) A Ph.D. degree in the concerned / relevant discipline. (iii) A minimum of 8 (eight) years’ experience of teaching and / or research and/ or extension education in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University /College or National Research Institute / industry with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 (five) publications as books and/or research/policy papers. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicators (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out the in Appendix III Table II(B) of UGC Regulations 2016.

Desirable Qualifications: (i) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technologymediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided students at Master and/or Ph.D. level.
