ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR CADRE: (Scale of pay Rs.1,31,400-2,17,100)
i. A Bachelor's degree in Home Science (relaxable only in the case of in-service Teachers of ANGRAU).
ii. A Master's degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks (or) any equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
iii. Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.
iv. Experience not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the last date for application.
v. The Assistant Professor (Selection Grade Scale) / Associate Professor in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100+AGP 8000 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2006) and Rs.79,800-2,11,500 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2016) can also apply.
vi. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided master students.
vii. A minimum score (300) as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) from category III of APIs of UGC regulations 2006.
(1) Agricultural Economics
i) A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities) (relaxed only in the case of in-service Teachers of ANGRAU).
ii) A Master's degree in the discipline concerned with at least 55% marks (or) any equivalent grade on point scale wherever grading system is followed.
iii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the allied / relevant discipline concerned.
iv) Experience of not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the last date for application.02
v) The Assistant Professor (Selection Grade Scale) / Associate Professor in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100+AGP 8000 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2006) can also apply.
vi) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided Masters students.
vii) Consolidated minimum score of 300 as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) from category III of APIs of UGC regulations 2006.
(2) Agricultural Engineering
a) Farm Machinery and Power b) Process and Food Engineering c) Soil and Water Engineering:
(i) UG & PG qualifications as specified for Assistant Professor cadre in the same discipline.
(ii) Good academic' record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.
(iii) Experience not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the last date for application.
(iv) The Assistant Professor (Selection Grade Scale) and Associate Professor who are in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100+AGP 8000 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2006) and Rs.79,800-2,11,500 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2016) can also apply.
(3) Agricultural Extension:
i) A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Horticulture of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities) (relaxed only in the case of in-service Teachers of ANGRAU).
ii) A Master's degree in the discipline concerned with at least 55% marks (or) any equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
iii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the allied / relevant discipline concerned.
iv) Experience of not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the last date for application.
