Associate Professor Orthopaedic Surgery/Assistant Professors/Lecturer job Position in Goa Public Service Commission (Goa PSC)
I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
1. Associate Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery/1 post (2nd time)
Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.
(iii) At least 3 years’ experience in the concerned speciality as Assistant Professor in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite post-graduate degree qualification. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6600/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 11)
Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
II. GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
2. Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/ 1 post (resvd for OBC) (3rd time)
Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10)
Age: Not exceeding 45 years
III. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
3. Medical Officer/ 2 posts (resvd for OBC) (2nd time)
Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (MedicoCirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

IV. GOA POLICE DEPARTMENT
4. Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory(Biology and Serology) …… 1 post
Educational & Other Qualifications: Essential (i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognised University with specialization in the discipline of Zoology/Forensic Science/Microbiology/Genetics/Biotechnology and (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Should be Computer literate. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- (As per revised pay matrix level 6)
Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
