Job Description
ICRISAT seeks applications for the position of Associate Scientist – Pepper Breeding for World Vegetable Center to work in collaboration with Breeders and Pathologists to strengthen the Worldveg Global Pepper Breeding program.
Qualifications and experience: Ph.D in Plant Breeding or related field with good academic record
Experience in field screening of germplasm for disease resistance and agronomic traits
Sound knowledge of experimental designs and statistical analysis, Excellent communication with fluency in written and spoken English, Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
General:The position is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position and will be initially for one year with the possibility of extension depending upon work performance and funding availability.
