Job Description

Roles and Responsibility:

Support IMAC (Install, Move, Add & Changes) in the desktop environment.
Installation, configuration and trouble shooting of Desktop operating system and setup.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Desktop applications like email client, MS Office applications and other client software.
Coordinate with desktop & hardware vendors for replacements and new installations.
Tracking the status of all the tickets in the Queue till they are 'resolved' & 'closed'.
Timely tracking of all the tickets to ensure that all the tickets are resolved /acknowledged within the SLA.
Keeping all the stakeholders informed in case of any minor/major changes causing an impact.
Configuration of printers and troubleshooting printer related problems.
Manage antivirus updates on desktop environment using the customer anti-virus management software.
Manage operating system patch updates on desktop environment using CUSTOMER tools.
Service packs and client software upgrades will be updated manually in all desktops on need basis.
Vendor co-ordination in terms of Call logging, tracking and closure of OEM calls pertaining to hardware.
Skill Set - Windows 2003 server, XP, Basic Hardware, Basic N/W.
