Qualification: (A) (1) Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 yrs. course) or Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 yrs. course) or (2) a Degree in Mechanical engineering or Automobile Engineering of a recognized University or deemed university.
(B) The candidate shall possess a motor driving license of motor cycle and light motor vehicles at the time of appointment.
(C) The Candidate shall obtain a driving license of heavy goods vehicles or heavy passenger motor vehicles during the stipulated period of service on contractual basis. (D) The candidate shall possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 (E) The candidate shall possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Qualification: Education Qualification: 1. A candidate shall possess (i) A Master Degree in Social work or Labour Welfare obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government;
2. The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment(General)Rules-1967; and 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Experience: i) have about three years experience as a Lady Welfare Officer in a factory registered under the Factories Act,1948 after obtaining the educational qualification as prescribed in clause (i) of sub-rule (b) of rule 3 above; or (ii) have about three years experience as a class II officer in Government after obtaining the educational qualification as prescribed in clause (i) of sub-rule (b) of rule 3 above; or (iii) have about three years experience as a welfare officer in Government undertaking Board or Corporation or Local Bodies or University after obtaining the educational qualification as prescribed in clause (i) of sub-rule (b) of rule 3 above; or (iv) have about three years experience as a Welfare Officer in non-Government Organisation engaged in the field of Social Services after obtaining the educational qualification as prescribed in clause (i) of sub-rule (b) of rule 3 above; or (v) have about three years experience in the field of welfare activities in Limited Company es
