Responsibilities

Work with project managers to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Write good quality, reusable, high performance, well documented, unit-tested code
API definitions, design and implementations
Continue to innovate and build solutions to support business growth and launch new features
Take full ownership of backend development
Manage the entire life-cycle of application, from developing to releasing it on production

Requirements

3+ Years of experience as a Backend Developer
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Computer Science fundamentals - Algorithms, Databases, Networking and Distributed systems.
Expertise in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
Deep knowledge on relational and non-relational database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
Experience with designing database schemas.
Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
Developing highly scalable backend infrastructure.
Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Must have curiosity about how things work.

Good to have

Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes on AWS or any other cloud provider.
Familiarity with queues
Experience with building self-healing, automatic fault detection and recovery mechanisms
Experience on other programming languages such as C++, Java, NodeJS
