Secondary Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with Relational Database and SQL
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools TFS
Experience with Agile programming methodology
Exposure to developing in Microsoft Azure cloud platform is a plus
Significant experience with Apache Spark
Hands on experience with programming languages likeJava, Ruby, PHP, and Python
Working knowledge of CMS framework
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
Strong understanding in Java/Scala development.
Knowledge of Big Data Systems (Cassandra, Elastic), streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed architecture.
Solid understanding of CS fundamentals - Operating Systems, Databases, Data Structures, and Computer Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain code for new and existing modules for a cloud-based supply chain procurement software solution using No-SQL, C#, ASP.net, C++
Review and debug existing lines of code for modules
Collaborate with an offshore team to design develop backend components.
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Gather and address technical and design requirements
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
